Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

Salary: Starting Salary £20,649 – £21,764

Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week) 12 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover)

About The Job:

UNISON Birmingham Branch is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our Administration and Clerical Team. You will be the first point of contact for our members and as such, excellent telephony and people skills are a must.

As one of the largest Local Government branches in UNISON, with some 15000 members, we are looking for someone who can work under pressure whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

A background or knowledge of the trade union movement and its aims/objectives would be an advantage in taking on this challenging role.
