The Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE)
provides a limited but important amount of protection to employees
affected by transfers from one employer to another. This course
examines the limits of the legislation and considers how to
negotiate and organise for better protection for wages and
conditions of employment and the continuance of union
recognition. The course will also provide a refresher on TUPE
processes and any potential redundancies that may occur as a
result.
Stewards will need to have completed the Handling Grievance and Disciplinary Casework course before applying for this course.
Please note there is a £30 per head branch fee for this course
