ONLINE
You will be required to attend all 5 dates set out below:
Thursday 16 Jan – 10am- 12pm
Thursday 23 Jan – 10am- 12pm
Thursday 30 Jan – 10am- 12pm
Thursday 6 Feb – 10am- 12pm
Thursday 13 Feb – 10am- 12pm
Even though the course is online, we expect the same commitment as attending a face-to-face course. It is expected that you will attend all 5 online weekly seminars. This is a requirement of the course and failure to do so may result in you not completing the course and therefore not gaining the formal accreditation.
In addition to the weekly seminars, you will be required to do additional work in your own time that will equate to approximately another 30 hours of study. Attendance at the weekly seminars alone, without completion of all the course modules, will not be enough to satisfy the accreditation criteria.
This course covers the role of the Health and Safety Representative, legislation, workplace inspections and developing local strategies. This is an essential starting point for new Health and Safety representatives.
Please note there is a £30 charge to your UNISON branch for this course
