A half day networking and information session aimed at any new UNISON Branch Officer from the West Midlands Region. This forum will help new officers familiarise themselves with what branch officer roles entail and how they help the functions of the union. The session will cover:
- The importance of the Branch Officer role within UNISON structure
- Key dates for UNISON Officers including Conferences
- Branch planning and reporting
- Knowing where to seek help and assistance
- Key resources and documents
This is in addition to the formal Branch Officer training for specific roles that will take place on 26 September.
