This one-day course is aimed at all UNISON representatives, it will be of particular interest to trained stewards, equality and health & safety representatives. The course will introduce and explore key themes around neurodiversity in the workplace, it will cover:
- What is understood by neurodivergence
- How neurodivergent members may face barriers at work
- The Equality act and social model of disability
- How to organise around neurodiversity in the workplace
- How to support neurodivergent members
- How to bargain for better policies and practice
Please note there is a £15 per head branch charge for this course
