This course is designed for those who work in a role where they are or may be in contact with individuals living with dementia.
- Discuss the impact of dementia on memory and how to support someone experiencing memory impairment.
- Consider the impact on the individual’s personality and how distressing this can be for family and those supporting them.
List ways in which we can offer immediate support to those living with dementia when in distress.
